Our Water Aerobics program is a one hour class lead by a certified instructor, in the shallow end of our pool. While similar to land aerobics in that it focuses on cardio training, water aerobics differs in that it adds the component of water resistance and buoyancy.
Excercising in the water is not only aerobic, but also builds strength due to the water resistance. Moving your body through the water creates a resistance that will activate muscle groups.
During the summer, we are only able to host Water Aerobics on Saturday mornings.
The Tuesday & Thursday times will resume in September.
